Carol Lynn - Report on Fall

  
 
June 22nd, Carol Lynn took a bad fall walking in her beloved hills.  She broke bones in her right foot, broke her left elbow, and broke her left hip.  Soon after surgery, she was transferred to a rehabilitation center.  She is doing satisfactorily, but recovery will be an extended process.

Many friends have asked what they can do and have begun a fund to help offset incidental medical and other expenses (something like the price of taking her out to dinner or a movie).  Carol Lynn said she would rather have your good wishes and prayers than cash.  However, since I am her big brother and because I am in charge of the website and getting out the newsletter, I am doing it my way.

July 10 Update.  Carol Lynn is doing well at the rehabilitation center.  Friday she went back to the hospital to have staples removed and was told she is doing very well.  She is in good spirits.  The planned date for her to come home is Friday, July 15th.  Friends and family have projects going to fix up the house to accommodate her and to spruce up the house and yard to welcome her back home.
